Flexible Courses for Every Learner
At SRDS Summer Academy, students can maximize their learning and optimize their time with full-credit, semester-credit, and elective courses at both Honors and College Preparatory levels.
Full-Credit Courses (3 Credits for Saddle River Day Students)
SRDS students can earn 3 credits on their transcripts upon successful completion of a full-credit advancement or elective class. Non-SRDS students should check with their schools regarding transfer credit.
Advancement Courses: Mathematics, Sciences, and Languages
Elective Courses: Anatomy & Physiology, Astronomy, Environmental Science, Professional Science (Introduction to the Research Process), Marine Biology, and Graphic Arts
Semester-Credit Courses (1.5 Credits for SRDS Students)

Yes, summer is for relaxing—but it’s also the perfect time to stay sharp, explore new interests, and prepare for the next academic year. SRDS Summer Academy welcomes both SRDS and non-SRDS students, with courses available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Academy Dates: June 23, 2025 – July 30, 2025 (SRDS closed July 3-4 for Independence Day)
Final Exams: July 30, 2025

SRDS Summer Academy provides students an opportunity to maximize their learning experience beyond the traditional academic year. Classes include full-credit advancement and elective courses, semester-credit electives, and non-credit enrichment courses.
The Summer Academy will run Monday-Friday, beginning June 23rd - please see each course title for exact dates and times. Course registration begins immediately and will continue until June 20, 2025 (individual courses may close earlier -- first come, first served) -- tuition structure is based on credit value and duration of course.
