That's because they're on a quest to figure everything out for themselves. You can't possibly understand what they're going through... so they say.
And I say, let them. This is their time for exploration, self-discovery, mistakes and problem-solving. We are all experiential learners. Your home is the training ground and the safe landing spot.
Sit down, shut up, and smile (the 3 S’s). Let them have their wins and losses.
This could be the most important step you take to help them ‘adult’ - to prepare for life on their own.
