Thank you Bergen County for opening your hearts and donating warm coats to our Ukrainian families in Bergen County!
YOU Donated Over 700 Coats!
Last night we hosted Ukrainian families at St. Elizabeth's Church. These families were forced to leave their hometowns of Sumy, Bogorydchany (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Luhansk, Rubizhne (Luhansk region), Krykhivtsi, Ternopil, Dnipro, Odesa, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Chervonograd, Lviv, Vinnytsya, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Chernivtsi, and Nova Kakhovka.
We welcomed them with beautiful coats as well as pizza, music, Halloween arts + crafts and some Ukrainian homeland singing!
