Safety First
We have implemented strict procedures at Down Town Sports to ensure that we are providing our children with the safest space possible. By working closely with our local health department and strictly following all CDC guidelines, we have ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES that have allowed us to safely return to Down Town Sports this fall.
Here Are Our CDC-Approved Guidelines + EPA-Approved Products:
TEMPERATURE CHECKS: A certified EMT / Health Director will check temperatures of everyone entering the building (drop off only)
HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE: All players must answer Covid-19 questions
APPROPRIATE GROUP SIZE: All practices will be broken up into appropriate size groups with limited interaction to players and coaches
NO VISITORS/PARENTS: No visitors or parents in the facility
STREAMING: All games will be live streamed to avoid large crowds
DAILY SANITIZATION: The building will be sanitized throughout the day
CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS: Detailed instructions will be supplied to all players on the usage of masks, water bottles, and basketballs
HAND-WASHING REQUIRED: Hand-washing and / hand sanitation available and requirements will be strictly implemented
PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING: Traffic flow in the building will ensure social distancing indicated by arrows on the floors
SEPARATE ENTRANCE/EXIT: Drop-offs & pick-ups (separate entrance 7 Leighton Place and exit 10 Edison Road)
BIGGER SPACE: Additional space for play and training
ADDITIONAL BATHROOM: Availability of an additional bathroom for players
